Default Wheels/Tires Question

Looking for opinions, pictures to follow...

I have an 06 Daytona, when I bought it, it had Factory Reproductions 20" SRT rims in chrome with Goodyears on it. Personally, I am not a fan of chrome and am contemplating switching to 20" Matte Black Vipers. Couple quesitons, as far as the rims, does that sound crazy to change? Should I consider staggered set up? I only ask because I see the offering. Finally as for tires, I have never been a fan of Goodyear, my friend with a Magnum swears by Michelin, but I like what I have read about Hankook, and think that might be the smart way to go. Can anyone with V12s let me know thoughts on them.

Thank you very much.

Take a look at the Yokohama Parada Spec X. I was skeptical but they had better ratings in every category than most of the "BIG BOY, high dollar tires"

Also, check the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s. Got some on my truck and I love the grip they give me.

We have 20s on some of our cars and 22s on other; all ride fine. It is just what you like. I like the 20's that came on your car.

I loved the V12's on the Magnum when I switched to Challenger SRT replicas.... ride was great and price was reasonable...!! I would do same tire again if had to replace them and if still had Magnum...

Kim's charger has the Hankooks on them and I'm pretty impressed by them I have to admit! They handle great and have lasted a lot longer than I have expected. They've still got tons of tread on them after 2 years.. as far as staggered wheels its all up to personal taste. I can tell you though you're throwing rotations out then window with a staggered set though, so you may close some longevity depending in your driving style but other than personally I think it looks ALOT better with w wider tire on the rear. It looks more proportionate and meaner than the little skinny stock tires on the rear

I just got rid of the burnt up Goodyear F1's that came on my 11 SRT8, felt like I had slicks on them the entire time. Replaced them with Hankook Ventus ST RH06's and love the traction I'm getting at take off...Up'd them to 275-40-20's all the way around so I can have some rotation...
