Sorry Guys, has been awile since I've been on here, I've been dealing with my Mom, she's 84 and in a nursing home 1600 miles away, just had another stroke and recently had her gall bladder taken out, Doctors weren't sure she would survive the surgery because of a valve that was put in her heart is failing. She made it through but has given up on life. Just been really depressed lately.

If anyone in the Tampa Chapter wants to take over as Pres, I totally understand, cause at this time I just can't do the club the service it needs and I don't want you guys suffering for it. I absolutely still want to remain a part of DSM and once I get past this I'll be posting as usual.

I know what your going through. My mom passed away two months ago.She was 92 in an assisted living facility. Alzheimer's took over and she just gave up on life.

Brother, u are on a very hard road, as I lost my mother about the same age/way thhis year, followed by dad, three months later. Let her know you'll miss her, but let her know that you appreciate all the suffering she's gone thru to stay for u. It's impossibly hard to go thru this,but we ALL must, don't worry bout this place, we'll hold fort for u, but we're family now, so we share ur pain bro. This part of life has got to be the hardest part, most stressful, but sharing really does help, so try and come back when u can, we want to know how ur doin, good or bad.
