i got the 6.1 it runs pretty good i have a borrowed diablo from a pal who runs nitrous but unforunately he recently asked for it back so i can either pay 400 bucks for a new 1 and spend another few hundred getting it custom tuned and maybe run low 13s the best time i''ve got on the 93 tune was 13.30 which i thought was pretty good but i can spend the same on nos and fly:D

whats the drawback on motor wear with nitrous? I hear alot of horror stories? will our 6.1 srt's handle nitrous with stock motor and tranny???

well jay from what i here if its properly tuned 2 your car not 2 rich not 2 lean its supposed 2 b all good i have and old classmate who broke and bent lifters but he says it wasnt nitrous its a 6.1 defect but another buddy told me he was spraying a lot and didnt get it tuned

yeah jay im kinda nervous 2 got really gunshy when classmate blew his lifters and dodge dealer wanted 6000 grand to repair thats crazy but my pal with superbee is sprayin 100 shot or so he says hasnt had a problem yet and he''s sprayed it probably 15 or more times hes only got 8000 thousand miles on his but his wife is *****in so he''s gonna take it off thats why he wants his diablo back

BMC told me that if I spray a 100 shot or lower on my 5.7 then the stock motor and tune will be fine. ANything over that and you need a CMR. I'm going to probably use the Zex kit made for our cars. It supposedly has a control box that keeps from running too lean or rich.

I'm thinking I may run a 75 just to be sure though.

If you use it in moderation and I would eventually get a Diablo and have someone CMR tune the car for the nitrous. That way you are totally safe! If you did 125 shot and Diablo you will be in the high 11's and kill'n em on the street!
