I wanna drop my car but I have 24's. Has anyone ever dropped their car with 24's if so what's did u use? Lowering springs or coilovers? I wanna fill the gap between my fender and tire, there's about three inches of space and it looks funny to me!! If I did drop it, would I have to roll my fenders? My wheel size is 24x10 and my tire size is 275/25/24. I'll post pics later.

Thanks for the help!

My two cents is that if you are going to put 24's. Then go with coilovers. The reason is that you have control of how much drop you want and can always adjusted if need be. While with springs you get whatever the springs settles down to. The question of will it fit depends on what you go with and the space you end up with. Which means I don't know!!:4-dontknow:

youll possibly have to roll the rear with the 10 inch rim but you should run a 8.5 on the front and no rolling is involved cause the lip is already super small. just did mine w 20s but ive seen the 24s.

yea like jet said you drop with springs that's what you are set at.with the adjustables you can adjust to what you need.since I am planning on stereo I think adjustable will be better so I can adjust the rear.you may have to roll the rear fenders with the 10s.with adjustables you can set accordingly.

If you call any tire shop that deals with large rims (20+) they can tell you if the wheels will fit. Good luck and keep us updated!!

Well I already have 24's on my ride and they do fit fine with no rub. I just wanna know how low I can go before it starts causing problems. And the coilovers are making more sense now.

Hey TF, I'm not sure if you chose a set-up yet and I may stand alone on this one but I would got with an AirRide, AirLift co or Easy Street air suspension set-up.

An air suspension would indeed give you huge amounts of flexibility in your ride height.

Two of my SRT8 Chally owner friends both dropped their rides. One with coil overs and the other with springs. They both ended up needing a camber kit and alignment. The coilover guy had to roll the rear fenders to get the look he was looking for, he also went with wider 20s than stock and 265 series tires.

Hey Thanks bro. You know, the only thing I regret in general is that all the cars and trucks we buy from the factory don't come with an adjustable air ride system

There is a guy on the custommagnums.com forum that has his magnum bagged on 24's and I think all he did was install the kit and roll the fenders. So if you want to just fill the gap you should be able to just buy the coilovers or the lowerings springs and you should be good.
