Hey guys and gals of the upstate chapter,I am going to this show on the 24th to support Scott (3 cudas past) and would love for ya'll to join me for the short drive to Gastonia.It really is not a bad ride it is only 30 minutes more from where we were in Spartanburg last week.And for those who do not know Scott is one of the orginial members of the upstate group before DSM.He has supported me and my rides so it's time about fare play,plus it looks like a great time.So I hope you will join me if you can on the 24th.

For your support in the Show, I guarantee anyone who attends will not be disappointed, as the post says this is the First annual MOPARS ONLY show, and with the support of friends like you guys in the Upstate Chapter we plan to make this the first of many, if you do plan to attend, please let me know so we can get an idea of how many cars we will have. I am planning to park all the DSM Chapters together.

I am thinking leaving Anderson around 9:00 A.M. and pick up the Greenville group around 10:00 A.M. and we should be there in Gastonia around 11:00 A.M. which would be a hour before the show.Should give us enough time to get settled wipe down our cars and relax.I will post all of the final info after our ride on the 17th but that should be the times we are leaving,so it would be safe to plan around them times.

There is a gas station/restaraunt off 85 at highway 29 that has a big parking lot. i dont remember the name of it but I should be down that way tommorow. I will come back tommorow and let you know.

It is an Exxon on the corner of Highway 29 & Tyger Lake Rd. When you exit off 85 go towards Spartanburg and it is maybe 1/4 mile on the left.

Jim I believe I met you and your wife at the SE Shindig in August. I remember you talking about your 4 Magnums. Me and my Wife and Son were there in a Yellow Daytona.

Yeah, I'm sure we met, but with so many, WHO can remember! We had my 05 R/T (LUCKY)... Did you also go to the Warren Robbins show that same afternoon... We had a blast there too!

Well it appears that you won't see my R/T (LUCKY), this time... the poll is asking I bring my Black SRT (SHADOW) and Tee will be bring her 05 Red R/T (ANGEL)... That looks just like mine, except for some different mods to hers...

Oh no harm Jerry taken here bud....I just got so pissed when I seen this weekend forecast and my blood was still boiling when I said it will be a no go for me if it rains,but after hearing the unbelievable support I and we have here in the upstate chapter I can only go along with the group.What good is a president that does not support the events that the group wants to? And for your question we have smoknrt (Terry) I believe is going but he is from Elberton GA if it does not rain us out.
I have not heard from any one in your area yet.....And after last weekend with Eddie and Joe coming all the way here and it SNOW on them I do not see any of them coming with the rain in the forecast.But I have my fingers crossed on the weather and I hope that you will join us,you and Gale are welcome to stay with us if you do decide to join us.Just let us know,I hope to see you if not at this one some time soon.....

I believe its not a DSM Upstate Chapter event without rain, so excited for tomorrow and to see all the mopars at the show plus we will be close to my favorite city (Charlotte) we should do a downtown cruise, that would be fun!

Just checked out the weather for tomorrow on weather.com and it's looking good around 12:00 P.M. and later it even says we will see the sun around 3:00 P.M. in Gastonia N.C..
The show is not supposed to start till 12:00 anyhow so maybe we will still have a great turnout from the town when we get there.
I just hope they give a trophy for the dirtiest car,cause I will win...
I have not touch mine since last week since I knew we were going to this rain or shine and it is awful.....

I want to start out in the back at some point tomorrow on the Highway so I can break out and get a video passing everyone then fall back. Im all about the video.

I washed my car and that brought on the rain. It seems like it is starting earlier than predicted so maybe it will end earlier too.

I dont want to ride in front of the supercharger either. I am scared that he will suck the paint off may car. Did you see all the leaves collect around every air portal on the front of the car.

I am very excited. I took a half of day vacation so i could wash the car before the rain and because I could not stand the thought of being at work mere hours before another rained out event.
