My mechanic at Chris Meyers texts me yesterday to tell me they got a 2010 Challenger in from auction and thought I might want to see it. I head over ther yesterday afternoon late to find a very stock looking Challenger...looks like an SE with 18" wheels and I can't figure out why he called me. He comes out and shows me under the hood...complete Stage 3 upgrade to a 5.7. Yep its an R/T and its got the juice! Ported heads, 6.1 lifters, HP cam, Arrington throttle body, shorty headers and Corsa exhaust all hooked up to a 6 speed! It was built in Virginia ( or somehwere in the region) from a shop up there (I can get the name if anyone is interested) but it runs a custom tune and comes with the Diablsport Predator Tuner. This thing is mean, but looks like a pushover.

Here is the best part...they bought it at auction and had no idea of these mods...so they can not sell it with a warranty now. They tried to send it back, but they wouldnt take it back! So now they apparently will be selling it as if it were a basic used R/T so they take the depreciation and all the mods are free.

Somebody traded this car in and it was sent to auction...anybody recognize it? If I had to guess, the dealer put 2011 Chally wheels on it and probably took off some nice aftermarket rims to put on another car...who knows. Right now, all it needs are racking slicks and it could pass as a Drag Pack car!!! (OK, maybe it needs a roll bar too!).

They dont have a price on it because they dont want to even show this car. They offer warranties on every car they sell, but they cant on this one so they dont know what to do!! They just want it gone so I get the feeling a deal is to be had here by someone!

I thought someone might know where this car came from and if it was any of our members who traded it? Its a helluva nice set up...just needs to stay a sleeper or let someone have some fun dressing it up!

The guys wants $32,000 for a R/T that has no mods and has mileage and comes with no warranty? Not a good deal for me. For that price, I could get an R/T here in Florida for $26,000 with all the creature features.

No mods???? Maybe you didn't understand what's done to this car... It's not your average R/T, not even close.
