my Bling Rings came in today! Install is tomorrow! I ccant wait. no more CCFL and inverters. woohoo. tomorrow is going to be a good day. should take me long, the biggest pain in the ass part will be taking off my red rings and cleaning up the glue and shit.

just about 4 hours and im done. yes, this is my third time taking off my fascia. i had my red halos for a few months, but they were such a PITA, i X'd them. everytime a mist of a rain drop touched the inverter or connection, they would go out until it tried. anyways....

like i said , 4 hours later. most of the time was taking off the red halos and trying not to break them, getting off the old glue, and peeling off the back f the 50 pieces of 3M tape on the LEDs. i broke both high beam halos (which were the same ones i broke installing them :rolleyes: ). i dont know why those were the ones to break, but owell. anways, these things are BADASS!! they are so f'n bright. i cant wait to see them tonight. ill post night pics after work tonight.

Okay will do. Did you run them to the fuse box? I'm thinking I may connect them to my parking lights. I may run a seperate switch though.

i ran the power to the fuse box and ground right next to it. i have an extra wireless remote with 2 keys. its yours if you want it.

Thanks. I went over to my parents and checked my box. AAC screwed up and sent me the fogs too it seems. I have 8 lights instead of 6. I'm going to email them and let them know, I don't want to be shifty considering they hooked it up on the cheap.

Well AAC is sending someone over to pick them up today. I didn't want to put them in the fogs anyways. Justin how does the remote box hook up? Does it connect to the power via fuse + post and then you connect the halo wires to that?

yep. the box has a power in, and power out , a ground and the antena wire. run all the powers into the power in wire, out power wire goes to fuse box and just ground the black. very simple
