Cruisin’ Keesler 8th Annual Car Show

Biloxi, MS



9am to 4pm in the Marina Park at Keesler Air Force Base. Vendors, Great Music, Cash Prizes. Judging at noon / Awards ceremony at 3pm. Dash plaques, top 25 awards, best of show engine, best of show paint, best of show interior. Peoples choice trophy. Vehicle entry fee $15 if registered by Aug. 31 $20 to register on/after Sept 1. Registration day of show 8am - noon. Free food and T-shirt to show participants.

Thanks Arty for posting, I was at work and sent the registration to you from my phone. Thanks Ernie for adding the area code for me. Yes, non military can participate. Joanne needs your registration to give to the, (SF), security forces at the main gate from Hwy 90. She did mention only registered cars would be permitted on base. There was a couple of motorcycles, but you should confirm with her. I would highly suggest calling her and giving names of passengers also if she thinks it's necessary. She said she would post signs for directions once on the base. I will see if I can get a map posted. The count was 102 cars last year.

We will have some registrations at Hog Heaven on the 13th for anyone

Thanks Ernie. This is a nice location at the marina. Mostly shaded by big oaks, large playground, plenty of picnic tables under large gazebos. Great bathroom facilities, convienence store and large piers. Bring your chairs and coolers for this one and relax.

Sounds like a good one to me!! There's also one coming up in October, I believe at the Battleship. I've got a flyer somewhere for it.

This was posted yesterday on the Gulfport Chapter DSM site. I know nothing about White Av. other than there is a condemned hotel on Hwy. 90 and White Av. and it's one of the ways to get on base. I have no idea if there is a place to gather. Jay or Jim may know.

If you want I can meet you at the White Ave gate around 8:30 a.m. and get you a pass, that way you can come and go as you like for the day.... Let me know.

Jay, that's awesome, it used to be mayhem getting on base as a xray imaging contractor with a 24/7 contract coverage but hey things change. If you can do that with out much problem that'd be cool but I really don't want to hang you up, I know where the pass and ID is, is that the deal all car show goers stop in there to get a pass.? Monica will meet 8:30 at Biloxi Chamber. It is in front of Light House on Hwy 90. She will leave for base at 8:45. Cell 228-365-8227
We have another hurricane and I need to work Saturday morning, hopefully I can be done by noon after you hear the 3rd plane take off.

Meeting Location for: Mobile and Panhandle Members coming from the East heading to the event.

I will be at just South of exit 69 in MS on I-10 at either the McDonald's or Hardees grabing a Quick bite to eat before heading over.. If anyone want to meet us there and ride down together, feel free to drop by. We have to leave there no later than 7:45 AM to to meet the Gulfport Chapter at the gate. I am not familiar with the area and guess they will be holding up just outside the gate so we all can head in at 8:30 as a group. I was told by the lady that answers the phone no on the flyer, that once you pass through the gate, there is no place to hang around and wait for other members attending as they will be very busy with everyone that morning with the number of cars needing to get through the check point.

My guess is if we all want to be parked next to each other as a group, we have a better chance at that if we all cruise in together.

After we leave exit 69 we will be meeting Monica at the Lighthouse Location "Monica will meet anyone wanting to roll on base together 8:30 at Biloxi Chamber. It is in front of Biloxi Light House on Hwy 90, BIG fancy building. She will leave there at 8:45 to drive on base. She will have OLE YELLER."

some how, I must have missed this.

We had a great time today.. DSM got a Plaque for best Car Club Participation..

I would like to say thanks to everyone and hope you had a safe trip back home..

looks like it was a great time! I had to go to Pensacola to help a buddy buy a used Harley and get it back to Biloxi. Also a good day - but not as many pictures :)

So is the Oct. 6 cruise-in next? been waiting on that!!!
