I was asked to leave jacksonville chrysler dodge jeep yesterday!
The story:
My sister is having trouble with her 06 pt cruiser so i say i'll see what i can do. I buy a multi function switch and make sure to ask the parts guy "if this doen't work how long do i have before i can return it? (guy) thirty days in working order." i think great!
The switch isn't what i needed so i return to the parts counter. The same guy is sitting there so i feel this will be quick. I tell him i am there to return the part and he looks at it and says "we dont do returns on electronics"
WTF!!!! I told him i was told i had 30 days, he scoffs and says "who told you that?" i took a deep breath and said YOU!
I asked to speak to the service manager, a guy in a t-shirt comes from the back. He tells me the same thing and there was no misunderstanding i just made it up...WTF!!! I asked if he is calling me a lair and he said no and told me the history of this parts guy and how hes been there for years.
I realize i'm not getting the part returned so i think "i'm gonna have fun with this!". I begin to tell everyone who can hear how dealers like them are the reason chrysler failed and they think they can treat their customers like crap because there are only 2 in town now!
After about 5 minutes of telling everyone around how there getting ripped off the same guy in the shirt and jeans comes out to me with two techs (i could have beat their ass) and says we have no buisness and i need to leave. I figure i have done my part and dont want to get arrested so i leave.
Now i have $80 worth of part i dont need for a car i dont own!
Customer service is dead!
