I am an avid Genealogist and was just wondering if there are any other Genealogist on here? I know this is a car Forum but just wanted to ask Because I enjoy helping others in their quest!

I've dabbled. But my sister is more into that side of things. My mother came directly from Ireland. My sister has gotten some family information from other family members that show my father's side came from Ireland also, but early in the formation of the country. My grandmother in Ireland had said our history traced directly back to the Vikings on one of her parents sides. Interesting note: a great, great, great uncle (or something along those lines) worked for the Dublin newspaper and was the typsetter for the Irish declaration of independence from Britain around 1916.

I have tried to do the research into my family tree but there is a lot of information I don't have.

I have thought about doing it but never have the time.
Would be cool though.

yeah i always wondered about that sort of thing but just never really tried my family is so multi racial i figure it would take forever 2 find out and i dont know a lot of names but it would be cool 2 find out
