Yesterday, I had the Challenger inspected and I met John Jancic of Cleveland, NC. He restores, mods and has many new and classic Mopars. He has MANY cool rides including a SRT GC and a sc'ed SRT Chally. He really knows our cars and one of his sidelines is mods for them. I invited him to join DSM and he inturn invited me to join his club, Carolina Plymouth Owners Club, at his home and air conditioned shop for a meet and greet, review rides, talk classics, some tech talk and food. It will be held next Saturday, July 30th starting at 5 pm and ending around 8 or 9. It is free and I just need to let him know how many will attend before Tuesday, 7/26/11. He said he will give us some time to introduce DSM, what we do, when we meet, etc, etc. Also, Carolina POC will be sponsoring the All Mopar Car Show in Spencer, NC at the Transportation Museum on September 17th. This show is posted in the events section. POC is also co-sponsors for the August 27th and 28th AutoFair at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

So, who wants to join me? I think it will be a great way to meet more Mopar fanatics and possibly grow DSM. Please reply here if you plan on attending and how many and what vehicle you will be bringing.

C'Mon DSM fam!!! This really is a worthy place to visit. I know it is late in teh afternoon and could be a PITA for long distance drivers, but I really think we would all enjoy this. So, please reply by Tuesday, 7/26 if you want to go.

Hmmmm, he IS the guy that was trying to buy my SRT Magnum out from under me at the dealer when I got mine. I know at one time he had EVERY color Daytona and seen his 08 Blue Super Bee when in came into the show room.

Might be able to make this. He did call me once and ofter to build me a larger throttle body, but didn't think my car needed one being stock.

Put me down as a maybe, i think i'm supposed to have 2 of my grandkids that weekend.
