I would if they allowed. The comment was more towards Shane (Mopar) as a joke that we have between us about trucks. Plus, I am not sure how my 4WD, top heavy Crew would handle or, shall I say, how I could handle it!!!! :SHOCKED: The Chally will be much more fun!! :smileup:

They really are particular about who they want out there. They turned me down at first because they said I had a "luxury car". I had to get someone else to let them know that all LX's sare the same platform. There also was an M6 and an Infiniti out there, so maybe they'll loosen up the criteria. It IS for a good cause, and isn't "supposed" to get over highway speeds.

Hi Eddie,
Pardon the slow response. CABC-IX is scheduled for Saturday, October 8, 2011. This will be an evening event as last year. Event day registration to begin at 5pm. Track laps start at 6:30 pm. Early online registration to begin as early as 15 August. . Please check back again. Your club is more than welcomed.

Most vehicles are allowed, (alabama 1500 CC last year) but if you are not the aformentioned cars, Vette, viper, camaro, charger, chally, porsche you must call to get the ok. There is also an underlying tech inspection although lax, still might be enforced??
100+ is highway speeds right? I got there a few times in TN yesterday. The fact is 80 is paced by the pace car that is NEVER to be passed, but passing is allowed, and monotored as is the excessive speed, and that my friends is done so by the county sheriff in turn #4, and was enforced effectivly last year when the (2) 146 MPH vettes wanted to test that rule it was not pretty?

I wont say how fast i got going, cause then i would look like an A** on my own comment, but it was the last lap of the night, and I was asked by the event organizer to take some "VIPS" and the organizers mother out to the starting line..to meet the Camaro Pacecar and the mother got in the camaro..so it was the Pace car, myself and Woosh in the black ACR Viper on the track for a speed session @1030pm as the lights are going out! What an experience !!!!

We are planning a AWESOME vacation in October and we were going to leave from Atlanta after this event to go on that vacation but we have decided to get a early jump on it and start it Friday night,the night before this event.

If you are coming from the north take exit 218 turn right go thru the first traffic light and on your right hand side is the parking lot. From the south take a left go thru the first light and the parking lot is on the right. lol. We will be meeting at 4PM sharp and rolling out at 430PM.

The car looks sick lowered. Handles better but the ride quality is unchanged. I am thrilled I really thought there would be a down side.

I had a great time. Got the Magnum up to 140+ on the back stretch of my second run!!!! I would like to thank the douche in the maroon Mustang for running up towards the wall and dropping down in front of me on the inside line and showering the front of my car with rocks, debris, rubber and etc. on my first run.:box:Now I have to get my bumper inserts repainted and get started on saving to have the front facia redone. :shakehead: Other than that I had lots of fun.
