Registration to enter is from 2 pm to 5 pm and there is a slow cruise parade at 8:15. They usually get about 300 cars. I may head down tomorrow and check it out or maybe enter. If anyone is interested, pm me and we can work out the details.

SOBeeAndy 07-02-2011, 09:49 PM Unfortunately, that show only caters to '73 and older cars. No newer cars allowed except for the Corvette club for some reason. Gotta fined something else. It is a good show though. I have been several times in my '71 R/T.

They let pretty much any car in, there was a new blue RT there when I got there and a couple of import ricer's and a new camaro so I think the rules are pretty lax:smileup:
They must have changed the rules some I guess. When I fist got my Bee, I went there with a club i was in and they didn't want to let me in. I have to explain that it was a specialty car before they reluctantly let me in and only after I pointed out all the new Vettes in the place. Never brought the Bee back after that.
Dblackjack70 07-03-2011, 11:30 AM I think I misinterpreted the rules when I saw 73 and older, thought that meant newer, LOL. I showed mine regardless and got a lot of interest it was fun!

Ha that's funny, I pulled my chally right in like I owned the place, now that I see it's for classic car's I'll still go but won't "show" her! Good music, cheap beer and a lot to look at.:158:
Dblackjack70 07-03-2011, 07:24 PM I think the first Saturday of every month we should meet somewhere up this way and cruise down to this show, we don't have to be in it but it's something to do. Go down check out some rides, eat have a few pops and come home.

I really like that idea. We are still struggling to get this chapter moving though. Still, this is definitely one event we can start doing... We can talk more about it in the next couple weeks. Also, we can try to go down to Towers in Ft Lauderdale on an up coming Friday too.
