June 24-25
• The 1st Dillon Frisbie Memorial car show will be held at Citadel Mall. The show will include food, live entertainment and a car wash. Registration is 8 a.m.-11 a.m. with judging to follow and the trophy awards at 3 p.m. A cruise-in will be held 5:30-6:30 p.m. on June 24 from King Street Grille at Citadel Mall to the King Street Grille at Northwoods Mall. A party will follow. The events are in memory of Dillon Frisbie, who died in an auto accident in January. Dillon and his father Fred Frisbie collected a number of classic cars. Since his death, the Frisbie Road Run Car Club was started. The show will benefit the Dillon Frisbie Foundation to establish a scholarship fund at the high school he attended, First Baptist School.
