Here's some pictures of the car after the accident. :SHOCKED: Thanks to all for the well wishes and the invites to events even though I'm MOPARless at the moment... It's sad that such an automotive masterpiece has to end up like this. The upside to all of this is that each of you who are driving MOPARS can rest assured that it will take care of you in an accident. I truly believe that this car saved our lives. Waiting on the Insurance settlement, got my eye on something already.... More to come.

x2!! It hurts to look at that, but we are glad you are ok. The way I look at it is, it's just a car and is replaceable. Other things are not. :smileup:

I know I said it before and I'll say it again. I'm glad you and your family are ok. That is the main thing. It's great to know that the car did it's job in saving ya'll. I'm sure when all the insurance stuff is worked out you'll get something great.

So here's a brief synopsis of the accident.
Sat night-Sun morning on May29, we were travelling north on MS 609 approaching the intersection of 609 and Lemoyne Blvd. Light had been red and I had already slowed for the stop but changed to green and I had a clear lane in front of me, and was down to about 10-20 mph. About 1/4 of the way through the intersection WHAM! Hit us on the left front. Never saw him... Never saw any headlights, never heard a horn or skidding tires for that matter... Hit us full force. Spun us 360 degrees and ended up at the far right corner of the intersection.... Accident report said he was doing 40 mph, however I tend to disagree with this because I just don't think that you can spin this 4100 lb car 360 degrees to the far right of a 4 lane intersection and do this kind of damage going 40 mph....

I might have been born at night, but not last night....:shakehead:

Anyway, again, thanks to all for the well wishes... I am a true believer in the 5 star crash rating of this vehicle... Only hope no one else has to rely on it, but if it happens know that it's definately there... And for this fact only, the next one will be the same.

Made me sick to see the car. So thankful you are all ok. What was the other vehicle that hit you and hopefully they got charged!......Can you salvage parts?

Sorry I miss this post earlier, Again, I would like to say sorry about the car and We are glad that everyone is OK.

BTW. did you see my post and picture I made on Facebook? The dealer over my way has a new 392 SRT Challenger Black with silver stripes siting in their show room as of last Friday. I don't think they are making many black ones this year with the paint shortages.
