So I'm thinking about saving up to get a custom blower built. I'll have to get my hood modded too so it'll probably be expensive, but I think it would look freakin sweet. :Wow1:
You guys heard of anyone doing a real blower with any model of our cars?

There have been a few. Southern Hot Rod has a nice build. You can check it out on youtube.
I just saw you have a V6 car. I'm not sure about any S/C builds for them. Sorry

the most engine mods I have seen for the 3.5 is a man put a supercharger on his. The car looked great and it ran very quick for a V6. Good luck with that. I hope your engine can take the system you want to install. I actually talked to a guy at a meet and greet here and he told me the best thing to do make the car meaner is to add the Diablo Predator. He actually tuned a Challenger with the 3.5 and they loved the perfomance that occured. Just a suggestion. Good luck with your killer plans! Sounds great!

Yea, it's all I could afford at the time, but I'm glad I pulled the trigger. Might be slower than the rest, but I look good doing it  I'll check out the Southern Hot rod vid.

Yea, I'll def be doing a Diablo tune. The forced air would be one of the last mods I do, performance wise at least. I just think it would look freakin sweet with a 8-12" blower coming out of the hood :D

I hear ya man. I tell guys at the strip that they may beat me but I lose crossing the traps with my climate control set to 72, my premium sound system playing soothing music, my back being warmed by my 6 position leather seat, and the girls waiting to look at "the pretty blue car":naughty:
I love speed for the track but style wins everywhere else.

Hey Matt. I dont think you can add a blower to the SE without first building up the internals. The RT can only handle about 6-8psi boost safely before you start to creep into the danger zone. Not sure about the SE, but do some surfing and research on it. Somebody probably has done this mod already or has thought about it too.

That's a good point. I was doing some thinking though and I may hold off on that and just go CAI. My niece will need a car when she's old enough, and while it'll be an older car by then it should still look brand new  She'd be the coolest kid on the block if she had a Chally! Also, I'd have an SRT8 well before then with lots of mods :D

instead of forking out a ton of cash for the blower on a V6 id pay to have a 5.7 or 6.1 installed.
