View Full Version : A long day in drs offices and pre op
HotInferno 05-03-2011, 10:42 PM I wanted to thank everyone who attended Mopars at the Battleship. Cloye and I met many and were able to put faces with names. We had a blast!!!
I had a huge kidney stone end of last year that passed at home. Recently I have had several symptoms leading me to believe I had another very large one.
Went to my Urologist this morning to find out after a CAT Scan and being scoped that I have a golf ball size stone in my bladder, he found a tumor in my bladder, and there is possibly a staple penetrating my right kidney from surgery I had many years back.
Was sent to the hospital for pre op as he wants to operate on Monday to use a laser to blast teh stone and pulverize it for removal. He will also remove the tumor and have it analyzed. The staple he will attewmpt but may have to have another surgey to fix that issue. I am known for doing it big when I do it so here I am!!!!
My daughter who has been a startter for four years of Varsity basketball was diagnosed a fewe months back with a heart condition. She did complete her Senior Season and was named Offensive Player of the Year.
This afternoon we were advised by the cardiologist that he and other cardiologists he consulted with would need to go to Birningham for an ablation which has a high success rate for her consition and should make her good as new again.
Please keep us in your prayers and thoughts.

HotInferno 05-10-2011, 11:36 AM Hello All, I under went surgery Monday afternoon.Great News!!!!
A golfball size tone was brokn up by laser and removed. What was thought to be a tumor turned out to be two stones growing on the lining of my bladder caused by staples from hernia surgery 15 years ago.
He was able to eliminate those two staples but found an additiional two stples in the bladder lining but have not penetrated. This wil have to be watched for a while, but, much better than being a tumor.
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers!!!
May God Bless
