is it possible that we can get a new chapter listing for Louisiana?

we have a car club in Alexandria that has members from Shreveport, Alexandria/Pineville, DeRidder/Leesville/Fort Polk, and Lafayette areas.

this would be a good way to promote the west side of the state.

well to get a new chapter you need to have people join the existing chapter in your area and if enough of them are active and show an interest and someone steps up to be the chapter president, then you need to contact Shane (Mopar) and/or Clay (GT) and let them know you want a new chapter.

Well the thing is there is no existing chapter in my area. I live on the west side of the state. both chapters here are on the east side of the state. both chapters no matter how you look at it from me are 4 hours away.

Thats why I am suggesting creating a west side or central chapter. We have a Challenger Club in Alexandria which is central.

what i meant was, you have to get people to join that ARE in your area, even if they have to join a chapter that is 4 hours away, that doesnt really matter. once you have a group of people in your area that are active and are meeting and you have someone step up to be the president, then you can ask for a chapter

BUT, i dont think that process is written in stone, so best to send Mopar or GT a PM to see what they say

good luck!!

David, You guys should just join the Monroe Chapter and have it renamed and name a Pres. I don't think anyone except Robert was active in Monroe, and I don't think he has been in awhile.

Frankly, We could merge both La chapters together as there is little activity on the New Orleans section as the only active guys ( Me, Eric, Shawn, Carter, Colin, and Donzel ) tend to just call or text each other when we can get together. A bunch of other guys always say they'll show up but very seldom do.

It would be an honor to share the chapter with the Cenla guys as you guys are what a Car Club should be! A chapter with traffic that covers the whole state is better than a bunch of chapters with very little going on!

Just my humble opinion.
