Pulled the FRONT & REAR rams heads off and decided to paint the inserts YELLOW to go with the blue car. I finished the front one and it's mounted and the large rear one is painted yellow also; waiting to dry good before I put it back together and mount it.

I also had extras and painted the inserts BLUE on those (for a spare set and also in case the yellow did not look good.)

Here is the FRONT one mounted in the grille.... Looks like it'll be a few days BEFORE I can mount the rear one.
(ALSO... wondering IF the yellow rams head background clashes with the RED R/T grille emblem.... Hmmmmmm?

I agree with you Jason. Wouldnt be that hard to do and would be another small mod.

Funny thing.... Tee and I were just thinking about that....

YOU BOTH mean changing the RED to YELLOW, Right?
YOU don't think the YELLOW is "tacky"???

Well the tacky thing would be up to you but I think blue and yellow is a good color combo. Just be tasteful with how much yellow you put on it. Since yellow is so bright I would stick with just doing some emblems and calipers and stuff like you are doing. Thats just my 2 cents.

Thanks Chris, I initally tried to paint the calipers yellow.... but the can of paint I bought wasn't any good... just squirted out and ran... took it back; it was the LAST can of yellow so was probably old. Just got this NEW can of yellow and it's OK and sprays fine. While I had the wheels off and primered, I just used some GOLD I already had for now... but gonna pull the wheels and do 'em in YELLOW! NO other things in yellow other than the calipers and ram emblems and NOW maybe the R/T emblem. And THANK YOU!

I like it...actually planning on putting a yellow R/t badge on grille as well, but I think that insert would look really good on the Bee

NO doubt about it.... the yellow would look awesome on your Bee. I have the other emblems here in the house and gonna put them together tomorrow... Wish it wasn't gonna RAIN... hafta wait to put the rear hatch on back on. Pretty sleepy tonight so I'll wait and put them together tomorrow!

When we first changed up the wheels I went and bought yellow paint (Last can they had) and when I tried to paint them the paint must have been bad or just sit around too long, it sprayed really runny and blotchy. I went to the garage and grabbed a can of the exact brand paint ONLY GOLD and painted them with that for now. It looks pretty good. But... now that I have the yellow and it's good, when I get a chance I'll pull the wheels and redo the calipers.

Yesterday I had finished painting the FRONT & REAR Ram's Head in yellow and another set in BLUE (just an extra set I had and it looks pretty cool too, but does NOT stand out like the yellow. The only ONE that dried enuff to put on yesterday was the small front yellow grille emblem as shown in the pictures above.

But today put the other three emblems back together and tapped the REAR Yellow Ram's Head on the back and also installed a Larger HEMI badge to the rear hatch. (Wow, went to take a picture of IT and you can already the pollen that fell since I mounted it.)

A few pictures from TODAY...
