As I asked on another site, Has anyone heard of a dealer installed supercharger on one of the challengers or any MOPAR? I was at the dealer getting my oil change and one of the reps said he remembered a vortec installed on an SRT8. Have any of you seen this as a dealer option? One of the parts guys said he might have seen it on a pamphlet or notice, but its not on the website. They suggested asking you all.

Baerair replied "They were supposed to release one in the Mopar catalog. They showed the car at SEMA last November but it never hit the dealers. I seem to remember the brochure last September showing a Vortech for the SRT8. I've got a copy of the brochure but it's back home in Idaho"

I have never seen it from a dealer but have seen some killer ones that are after market.

with the right amount of cash almost anything is possible

The dealer I bought from put an after market one on a srt8 jeep.in atl speed factory works with a local dealer putting them on and I think there is a warrenty(i can't spell)with it.for you 3.5 brothers and sisters modern muscle has one for us.

Not sure how much of a supercharger a dealer could give and still give you a warranty on the car..
But if they are going to offer it.. I am sure its because of the demand.
But its going to cost big money.. You will have to compare and do homework.
Lets see what happens..

Thats the only one I have heard of.

There was one being sold at University Dodge a few months back ,they installed a Techco supercharger on a 09 challenger.

Most dealers have access to the Hurst Challengers, some of which have the Vortec installed. As for the 440, it is awesome, but My Techco was a lot less dollars and there is just something about boost that the bigger displacement can't replace. I intend to bump my boost up until something breaks, then go to a new 426 short block,

they have it on the jeep with a 5.7. it runs in the mid 12s straight from the factory.

I had a local tuner in Greenville SC install mine, Tommy Pike. It comes with a 3yr 36,000 warranty.7.5 psi boost. Vortech V3. 600 hp est.

I am running 7.5 lbs of boost and it is indeed a wild ride.It took me two weeks to get over the g-force on my body...I drive it daily and love it. Let me know when you reach the limit of your engine!!

North olmstead Chrysler Dodge in Ohio do offer this option, we do there tuning etc for them if your interested speak with paul there hes the service manager and a really cool dude as well.
