Made emergency run to Texas panhandle last week. 2200 miles round trip. Averaged 20.2 mpg with a 93 octane tune. The further I went north the more trouble I had finding 93 octane gas (92, 91, etc.). Have to return next month, should I go back to factory settings for this trip or just leave it be? I was a little worried about running the lower octane. What do you guys think? :(

Hmmm i never thought about that... i suppose i would either return it back to stock or a 91 tune. Or i guess you could use the 93 tune and just cruise around and not get on it much!

Just put the 91 tune in when you leave. You'll be fine running the 93 octane, that way if you can't find it you can put the other in.

Or you could stop by one of your local auto parts stores and by some octane boost?
Don't know how sensitive the tunes are to higher octane levels?

too much octane is fine. Tunes are setup so if you're running 91 you need at least 91 octane.
