Lingenfelter Performance Engineering (LPE) has launched its Dodge Challenger Supercharger Package for 2008-2010 cars with standard or SRT HEMI engines. It includes a Magnuson TVS 2300 intercooled supercharger system, with a black powdercoat finish; a 160-degree thermostat; properly sized fuel injectors; and a high flow air intake system. A chrome upgrade to the supercharger is available.
Baseline testing showed the 6.1L Challenger SRT8 produced 373 rear wheel horsepower and 355 lb.-ft. of torque. After adding the supercharger, the LPE-tuned 6.1L Challenger produced 500 rear wheel horsepower and 450 lb.-ft. of torque at 6 psi boost.
Owner Ken Lingenfelter said his modified 6.1L Challenger recently ran a best of 12.03-seconds at 120 mph at the Muncie Dragway.” said Owner Ken Lingenfelter. He noted 30 years of expertise in fine-tuning engines.
The package comes with installation, testing, custom calibration, and before and after chassis dyno reports. Normal installation time is 1-2 weeks with a pre-scheduled appointment; it comes with Lingenfelter’s 3-year/36,000-mile warranty and fender badges.
