Reg. 8-11 a.m., Judging 11 a.m. and awards 3 p.m.

I went to this last year...it's a huge event..something for everyone! and last year the mopars were inside the building!

We stil have, (however not Iron Clad), plans on coming to the PanHandle this year to visit relatives and there had BETTER BE something going on while we are there. We plan on visiting our relatives during the week.... leaving the weekend FREE!!!

Jim, you and Tee get down here and I'll make something happen..lol If ya'll come the end of April, there's Mopars at the Battleship here in Mobile, it's about hour and 45 mins from your family and it's a big event.

I called the folks sponsoring this because it was listed in the local paper as a Firebird Trans-Am show. It turns out that there will be 4 different car shows going on at the fairgrounds this weekend - The Mopar show, a Mustang show, the Firebird/Trans-Am show and a Ford Falcon show. Lots of cars to see this weekend at the Fairgrounds. The Mopar guy also said that there will be indoor spaces for $35 and outdoor spaces for $30 the day of the show.

I'll be there with the purple car. I spent last weekend going over the whole car and found a few loose nuts - another big one on the suspension - and it looks like everything is tight again. I am curious to see what 60's and 70's Mopars will be on display and it's just a blast driving that car down old highway 90!

Nice wheel caps, Mike. Did you yella-ize the "DODGE" letters? Looks good! I'll get to see it in person tomorrow. Why weren't you wearing yella shoes on your feet instead of those goofy brown ones when you took the pics?

Here's a link to some more pics from the show. The old guy with the camera was a little shaky in some shots but he held his trophy correctly this time! There are a few non-Mopars from the other shows too - like a really cool Australian Falcon that looked a lot like the car used in "Mad Max" and a really nice Jag XKE. One of the cars used in the movie "Christine" was also there.
