One of the SE owners on the Z got hold of a SRT8 stock exhaust, removed the mufflers and threw it on his car. Sounds absolutely fantastic. I've been looking around to try and find the cost of the oem part but I can only find $1k+ aftermarket parts. Any of you guys happen to know the cost?

New stock exhaust costs as much if not more then some of the aftermarket systems. 2010 6.1 manual trans new stock exhaust is ~ $1130 for right side and ~$682 for left side. (pipe and mufflers)

Recommend looking for someone who has a low mileage take of set.

Holy macaroni. I can get a set of Violators for less than half of that, and they sound like sex! Maybe I'll lurk around the net and see if someone's just trying to get rid of their stock pipes.

Yea, I was looking over there. I'm actually gonna go with the Violator, I found one for relatively cheap and I love the sound of it.
