I saw this online while looking around. Is this a gimmic or what? I know nothing about superchargers or how to add horsepower, but these seem like there is no way it would work to add anything you would feel or notice. It did give me a chuckle though, but if it would work, I'd be all about it. LOL

I don't know for sure but..... I think it would be like a thimble full of octane boost in a full gas tank.

Looks like just installing a fan into the cold air intake tube, think maybe the glass is half empty.

I had a set up like that i made for my VW back in high school. I used a blower fan out of a ford truck and built a sheetmetal box to focus the air. It made no hp but it looked cool spining with a light shining threw it.

It's b.s. Don't waste your money.

I imagine it would help at idle, but the engine quickly overcome its capacity when the RPMs started to climb. It would probably rob upper-end power by getting in the way.

I would be really careful with that. It doesn't seem good at all. Just my take. i have seen super chargers and turbos and they look nothing like that picture. Better to be safe then sorry.
