Ferrea Competition Plus Valves are engineered for high rpm, high horsepower racing engines, and are chosen by many top NASCAR, Drag, and Oval & Sprint Car-racing teams.
special aerospace quality alloys, including EV8-Z18, which provides high tensile strength. An exclusive two-step slow forging process ensures proper grain flow and virtually eliminates any damage to the material structure. The valves are then heat treated and stress-relieved over a 48-hour period, which is the crucial base of our molecular integrity. These valves feature avionics-quality hard chrome along with a specially applied hard tip. Our engineering staff at Ferrea spends countless hours conducting flow bench tests to achieve an optimum balance of flow, velocity and efficiency in the design of this valve. As a result, these valves incorporate smoother radiuses and unique undercuts. These exclusive features are what make the Ferrea Competition Plus Valves unequaled in performance and reliability!

The ported TB kicks ass. Plain and simple. It is more noticeable in the low to mid throttle range. Less pedal is required in all circumstances. It doesn't add a whole lot under WOT conditions, but it is well worth the price. Save yourself some money and send your TB directly to Scott at BT. He will port it for $150 (shipping included). I can let you borrow my stock one if you need a loaner while you get yours ported. Or, you can get in on the group buy for the new cast TB's. They look pretty good.

Mark, how did that ported TB work for you? Noticeable gain?

I love those wheels. Did you get them through BMC or did you order them yourself? I am going through the motions of trying to decide what wheels I want to put on my car and I never thought about HRE. What do they weight with tires? Thanks for the pics!

I was wondering if you would see my little poke at ya. LOL The SFI approved flex plate from ATI doesn't add power. It's basically a standard that racing products must meet like roll cages, harmonic balancers and etc... I got it because it was fairly cheap and I feel better knowing it is less likely to fly apart. See ya tommorrow at Hooters. WOOT!!!! Hey if you want to meet us in Slidell and make the trek with us just let me know
