Hey Yall,
I have a 06 ram mega cab with 5.7 hemi. I want to put a magnaflow cat back on it. But the question I have is I dont want so much noise in the cab where you cant hear each other talking, or having to yell over the noise. I was wanting the cat back that exits out in front of the rear tires. can anyone tell me if that system will have a ton of interior noise? any help would be great,

ive heard that most of the noise is taken out by the resonators but im not even sure the Rams have those on the 5.7s, i would think they do though. so if you take those out and add a magnaflow, it will have drone, but at what RPM its hard to say

I have the magna flows on my truck and they sound awesome!!

i have just the muffler changed on mine and its not too loud. smooth and mellow

They are tuned to specifically reduce interior drone and noise. Especially at cruising speeds.
