The story:
I bought a nitrous kit from a LX member for a decent price, some of the kit was new some used. I was going to install it myself, but didn't have the time or patience, so I had a local guy do the install. Right now I have the 75hp jets in (N40, F21). The RPM limits are set at 3000 on and 6000 off, although I may tweak these to better suit the shift points. The bottle has a warmer, the purge kit is on (looks cool even without a show light), all of this is running to a Nitrous Outlet throttle plate, one step colder plugs are in and gapped to 35. I installed a Innovate LC1 w DB gauge to monitor AF ratios and the switches are mounted in the ashtray for a nice clean look. All of the tubing has been wrapped but if you look closely you can still see the traction control in the top Left corner and the Zex controller strapped to sway bar.

I filled the bottle on Friday, only $3/lb at a local speed shop and tried a few runs at different speeds. At 65mph, the nitrous was barely nocticeable, from 30mph, much more noticeable and from a dead stop I couldn't keep it from lighting up the tires -even while trying to roll into it. This was with Verd 275/40/20 on.

I am awaiting a couple more fuel jets and a blow down tube this week. Everything else is done. Woohooo!!!!!!

Very clean install. I like the use of the ashtray for the switches. Everything is very stealthy.

Set up looks nice bro! One thing to consider, you should re-locate the bottle so it faces in line vs horiz. the syphon tube inside runs straight down almost to the bottom, as the pressure gets lower mounted inline is better off that way. I read this a while back on my past kits for my LT1 GM

That is a great looking install...Stealthy is cool.

How risky is a 50-75 HP shot of NO2? Will it do damage if used too much?
