So I'm driving around today and figure, what the hay, lemme get some quotes on what it would cost to wrap my hood, roof & trunk. It's the first place I have ever been to ask, and I'm not familiar at all with pricing, so here are the quotes;

$675 Matte Black

$875 Carbon Fiber

Are these in line with what other shops charge? I wanted to black out these parts, but at these prices, I just might have to pass... Or worse yet, do it myself. lol

i don't know about how far the prices are, but i've wraped a truck in camo, and it sucked. it looked good after it was done, but it was alot of work, and i don't usually say that about any job.

just a thought if you wanna do it yourself, get a buddy to help you.

Or you can ask CLAY...
I think he is doing this or knows someone that can do it by him.. =o)

But the prices you got seems to be in line..
I will say this....

FOR THIS MOD DO NOT GO FOR THE CHEAPEST PRICE..

You need vinly that will last and not fade.. That cost $$$$$$$..
Make sure it has a AT LEAST a 5 yr warranty to never fade..

I paid over $600 for a 22in wide stripe from front to back..

Sounds like a good price to me, the pricing that you got was pretty close to what I paid.

Ok. I just wasn't sure on the prices.
Ross, I know you said it was around $600 for yours, but I thought since you had some painting done, that drove it up some.
I don't think I can talk the wife into spending this much right now. Might have to do it a piece at a time!!

Yeah, the $600 was on top of what I paid to get the hood painted.

I was looking at doing this to my ride also.

Just haven't found a shop that will do it yet.
