So this is the first Winter with my new Challenger, and I found out this morning that it doesn't do well in below freezing temperatures. There is a product on the Z that is recommended for the windows, but what about the frame? There was moisture in there and it was frozen to itself. I don't want that to happen since I feel it will damage the paint to have it scraping against ice.

If it's all dry will it still freeze or was it just because we had all of that rain?

I'm not sure why the moisture was there...it's entirely possible because of the rain.

I have had doors get stuck due to washing, rain etc, even when they normally don't.

Ah, no, this was the first time they were stuck. Part of the problem was the window was frozen, but I found a product to resolve that. The other problem is the ice that was on my door jamb. I'm worried that if that continues there will be damage to the paint and I don't want that. Guess I'll keep an eye on it.

I usually get in the other door and thaw it out while I drive!

Both were pretty frozen...and I'm not that nimble, or small :shy2:

My issue is my trunk gets frozen shut, so when I go to open it, it rips the seal.

The deck lid freezes to the rubber? A silicone spray should alleviate that.

I use Vasaline on my door seals. It keeps them plump too so they dont shrink. A couple times a years helps.
