I recently bought a set of 18" 10 spoke R/T wheels for my SE.

The current steels have 215/65 17's on the car from the factory.

I am thinking of putting on 235/55 18's on the rims when I install.

This is the size listed for the Daytona from the factory and when comparing sizes between the two they are extremely close on ride height. Will I have to have the car Star Scanned when I make this change? No TPMS on the car.

Has anyone replaced their SE with this combo and had any rubbing issues? Looking at my car I don't forsee any on the outer side not sure on the inside.

Hey man,I went from my stock 18's @ 225/65/18 to 245/45/20 on front
and 275/40/20 on the rear with no problem at all. Hope that helps a little.

those tires will be fine. you wont need to starscan unless it was a big change in size ... im not sure they can do many changes on the starscan as far as tire height goes.

yeah u want have a problem just look at all the guys that go from 17s to 24s they dont hit or scrub

I went from 17s to 20s with 245x50s no problem.when I got my predator I went in and changed the rim and tire size.
