What do you guys think? mexi 07-15-2009, 03:58 PM there are no advantages from it other than they last longer. i would use the stock copper plug that way every 30k when you change them you can see whats going on with the engine by the plug coloration. plus its cheaper.. goats srt 07-15-2009, 10:47 PM im using NGK's RedInfierno 07-16-2009, 12:03 AM arent NGK for lil imports?? im just asking dont take it the wrong way bro goats srt 07-16-2009, 12:53 AM arent NGK for lil imports?? im just asking dont take it the wrong way bro well my stock ones where champions but the NGK's are a upgrade RedInfierno 07-16-2009, 01:22 AM well my stock ones where champions but the NGK's are a upgrade is there a difference?? goats srt 07-16-2009, 01:26 AM is there a difference?? yea 1 step colder TreborRT 07-16-2009, 03:13 PM If you plan on getting nitrous in the future it'd be a good idea to go with colder smaller gap spark plugs. Gurry624 07-16-2009, 07:16 PM If you plan on getting nitrous in the future it'd be a good idea to go with colder smaller gap spark plugs. I'm not gonna put my baby on the bottle. I'm just lookin for a good plug to get a little extra power out of my N/A motor. patrick2164 07-18-2009, 01:32 AM cant wait 2 put my baby on the bottle. i hear from my pals that the iridium plugs are awesome i tried them in my harley it didnt lke them they were 2 hot for supercharged vehicles but should work good in n/a one's AgentOrange 09-20-2009, 06:15 PM Well, what did you go with? Any difference in performance or not enough to notice? Gurry624 09-20-2009, 06:32 PM Well, I went with the Bosch Platinum +4, as far as performance I havn't had a chance to notice. Havn't raced anybody or gone to the track. As far as gas mileage, i've gotten about 25 more miles per tank. sickr bee 09-20-2009, 09:17 PM Bosch Plus 4 Iridiums! At near $10 a pop, that's $160, but I ran them 2 years on my 04 5.7, they saved me .2 MPG on the onboard computor, plus they are the most efficient flame pattern plugs out there! Been running Bosch Platnum in my 68 Harley forever, but run Autolight iridium in my 00 Harley. There IS a big a difference between iridium and platnum plugs, as there was between copper and platnum- very noticible! As for the stock(. 08 later) plugs, they are not core platnum, they are Tipped copper plugs, so even going to platnum cored ( as Bosch are) will give a noticeble improvement, and they're 100k plugs, but 16 plugs to change, do it ONCE, Bosch iridiums!( stepping off soapbox, and no they don't sponsor me, I just like em that much) v666 09-25-2009, 01:07 PM I haven't had to change mine yet in the v6.they are 100k plug what's in there.wonder if these bosch would be good for the v6? sickr bee 09-25-2009, 01:34 PM I haven't changed mine out yet either. Stock on the V6 is NGK copper cores, with platnum tips, higher mileage than the old copper plugs, but not as good as platnum cores, and those are not as good as Irdium, which last time I checked, Bosch DOES NOT make iridiums for the 3.5. U will have to use Autolight iridiums, as I was talking bout the 5.7 hemi, that I had in my 04 Rumble Bee. v666 09-28-2009, 01:16 PM Thanks I will check into those.the dealer ship was telling it was time to change them but the book says change them at a 100k. vBulletin® v3.8.4, Copyright ©2000-2012, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
