With the current show and cruise-in season drawing to a close I have lined up a couple of mods for the winter.
I'll keep this thread updated as I work on these over the next few months so stay tuned....;)
To get things started I got this huge box the other day from FL. Any idea what it might be?

I should have these done by spring, along with one other mod also. One of the fenders was chipped in transport so I'll need to get it fixed before I fit them. I have already spoke to the shop that will paint them and they said they could repair it easy.

I was going to put up a post for the TM guys but first I need to get one of the fenders fixed. One of them got a chip during shipping. I got a body guy just down the road who I was going to use to have them painted. I'm gonna stop by his place on Thursday to have him fix the chip. After it's fixed we need to hang the fenders to make sure they fit right before he paints them. I would hate to have to trim them after paint!! :158:

Also, I need to hit up AAC for some LED lights for the cut outs.

You thinking about using the flexible LED's? We might be able to get a discount if we buy a whole roll. That is if you are wanting red.

Well, I finally had some time to get started on the fenders.
First I had to to remove the OEM fenders. The first took some time since I had to locate all the bolts. The second was quick and easy.
http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k293/rfetter/Fender%20install/IMAG0332.jpg
I decided to make the vents functional and cut a hole in the inner fender. This will better allow hot air to be vented from the engine bay.
http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k293/rfetter/Fender%20install/IMAG0334.jpg
This how it looks all cleaned up and painted. I painted it because it will be visible, a little, through the vents.

Stay tuned, more to follow.....

You still interested in getting some red flexible LED's? I called AAC and they did not have red stock. I'll call again later this week.

Yeah if a roll is too much for you we could always split one or whatever I still would like to get some so I can start doing my underhood and the other we talked about!

I was finally able to get the fenders drilled and fitted this past weekend with help from Hollywood. They fit pretty good and were easy to drill and trim as long as you take your time. I dropped them off at the body shop to be prepped and painted.
All I need now is to find a local powder coater.
Thanks for the help Craig.

Well the fenders are on and I have some pics I will up load later. However the 4ch remote box I picked up from AAC does not work so the front end is still off the car. The car would have been done if it was not for crap AAC sent me.:shakehead:
I'll call them later this morning and hope they can express a replacement to me.
The fenders them self look great and I can't wait to get the car buttoned up.

Pretty much....So I bought another brand and will just get my money back from AAC. I wish they would work with me with out all the red tape but live and learn. They have lost me as a customer for my future needs.

Ok so I'm a little over due on posting some more pics. First I want to give a big shout out Craig and Don for helping out and getting these done right. They look great and I can't be happier...especially to be driving my car again.

The lights are connected to the parking lights and a second set are connected to the blinkers.

We are ready to get this party started.
