Well some of you have seen my trunk lid but I have also been working on my audio. Here is what I have so far...

My audio equipment is all MB Quart and video is all Boss.

I will initially have 3 monitors (1 in dash, 2 in trunk lid)
2-12 inch subwoofers.
3-amps
1-battery
2-5.25in speakers and tweeters

The sub enclosure will have a custom wrap and hopefully when I receive the materials it will be done NLT next week.

Very happy with this enclosure. Fast shipping and awesome craftsmanship. Just waiting on my materials to come in before I can get it wrapped. This enclosure is built to the specs of the subs and will tuck into the rear of the trunk which will give me about 70% of my trunk space.:smileup:

Well I got the box from a company called Zenenclsoures.com in Bradenton, Fl. Its somewhat of a pre-fab box but I spoke with the rep and the had the box built to specs of the sub and its nicely crafted with some quick shipping. You can't beat the pirce and believe me I shopped around, these guys have some great feedback also, its a few folks around here in the 350/370Z that use them and love them so that helped me decide.

I'll be sure to check them out...thanks for the lead... I'm not sure what exactly I want to do... I got all the room I need, just have to come up with a plan.. I want to do something kinda different and panel it all in to make it look clean. I've thought bout trying out some fiberglass although I've never built anything out of it before but there's a first time for everything I guess..

Yeah I was going to do fiberglass but I changed my mind and decided on another route. I wanted a clean install also while saving as much trunk space as possible.

That's the boat I'm in... I use my car everyday so I hate to lose alot of room.

Yea this enclosure was perfect for me, because it sits flush with the rear lid.

As you can see I got the subs, battery, and the sub amp today. I really love MB Quart equipment. They are built like a tank and fit my style completely. The amp is Class D at rated for 1500W RMS. The subs are Dual 2-Ohm at rated at 500W RMS but I will run them at 750W RMS (right between RMS and peak watts for that sweet spot) at 2-Ohm. The battery is rated for 1360W RMS and below. This will not replace my stock battery but be an addition.

Just an update.

The final amp should arrive today (9/22) and also the material for my box (fingers crossed).

Gonna drop off amps and battery today so I can have the amp rack built. If material comes today for enclosure that will be dropped off tomorrow (9/23) morning to be wrapped.

9/24 the head unit should arrive. So early next week the install begins, the only thing I won't have is my trunk lid but everything will be ran so as soon as that comes in it should only take an hour or two to install.

Final amp arrived today but the material for the sub box is delayed until next week. I am ticked off about that because I wanted the install complete next week. Only time will tell if I can get it all done.

Stopped by my audio shop to discuss details of the amp rack. I didn't want anything extreme but wanted something flushed, concealed, and something that was car show worthy.

We are going to build an amp rack that mounts the 3 amps flushed at the top of spare tire opening, that way I can show off there beauty:smileup: . It will be wrapped in black vinyl (same as trunk lid) and will still have access to store things in spare tire opening. I will also have a removable cover to take on and off as I choose.

The build was going to start tomorrow but I have to go to Atlanta, so it will be next Tuesday and fingers cross done the same day or the following.

Hopefully this time next week, I will have alot more pics up!

Trunk lid and materials for sub enclosure arrived today. Headed off to have enclosure wrapped, will have pics tomorrow.
