My wife traded her Tahoe for an 06 Murano probably 1 1/2 months ago. Well on the way home from the beach I notice the steering acting up. I figure it's the power steering pump and drop it off today. It's out of full warranty and jsut has power train left. I bought a 5 star ectended warranty for it as well. I figure if it's the pump my ext warranty will cover it and if it's a belt or hose I'll pay a couple hundred bucks. Wrong!!!!! 540.00 bucks for a powersteering hose. I checked around and that's the right price. Hell the part was 260.00 bucks due to a sensor in the hose and because it's a hose( wear and tear item) not covered. After reading up on it I don't think I could of changed it with it being so far under the dash on the FWD. Here I was thinking I was coming off good because we got to skip a payment that month and saved a few hundred.LOL
