Mobile Chapter is having a M&G Greet on Saturday September 18, 2010 at Cracker Barrel in Malbis, AL at 11:00 AM. Sharp.. This is off I-10 exit 38 in Alabama, just North of the Interstate... All family members are welcome!

If you aren't familiar with Cracker Barrel, Here is a link to their Site. http://www.crackerbarrel.com/ (251) 621-4826. Afterword, there is a nice Ice Cream and Cookie shop around the corner if anyone is interested.

If anyone has any ideas on anything else for after the M&G, Feel free to make a suggestion.

Just playing around and I came up with this idea. Chesk it out and let me know what you think. It wont hurt my feelings if anyone finds it inappropriate or just doesn't like it. I think It has a retro hot rod club feel to it and I thought that would be cool.

Anyway, nothing on TV tonight so I started playing around on the laptop.

This is the logo most chapters use they just add little things to it and add there chapter name it pretty much keeps the DSM logo .....:smileup:

Remember, everyone, we are just tossing ideas around at the moment, we are not thrown any of what we are use to out the window.

I like to clear up some questions mentioned in earlier posts. We have to keep in mind, we ARE NOT starting a new club, we ARE a Chapter of Deep South Mopars Owners Club! and PROUD to be part of it. We have to have Deep South Mopar name on our logo and no other insinuation of any kind. This is the way I understand it. If it wasn't for DSM, we would no be here as a club/chapter.

I have seen a lot of variations and looking for suggestion so we can talk about this Saturday.

Sorry guys, I didn't mean to get on a soap box and preach but what ever we do, I believe it has to be approved by the administrators of the forum.

I just came up with the idea mentioned below last night. We have to keep an open mind as we are representing DSM.

My idea and just an idea, is take the DSM logo:

Hope I didn't confuse things with my idea...I understand we are all part of the DSM family and I like your idea for the DSM logo noting the Mobile Chapter within it a lot! Much Cleaner and easier to reproduce on a shirt!

I am looking forward to brunch tomorrow...we can all share some ideas about how we can maintain the design continuity of DSM and still differentiate ourselves as a local chapter. Your logo idea will certainly do that!

Man o man what did i start i like the logo my self but it should at least include the club name that you belong to that way people know who you represent when you step out the car ............

Earnie, I have one of the original Gray shirts ordered when we started DSM and the mobile Chapter was formed. My plans for tomorrow have kept changing by the minute, That is why I haven't committed for tomorrow.
The logo on the back is the Mopar M in Red with Mobile as the chapter down the middle of the M. The blue Mopar M is on the sleeve.
I hope I can swing it tomorrow and if I can I will bring the shirt for all to at least see. Really does not matter if we change any colors but I agree we need to stay with the Heritage of the club as a Member.

It was great to see everyone that could make it out today...I really enjoyed today!! I like the fact that we have a few new people everytime we get together..at this rate DSM is gonna take over!!! lol
