Been looking at cat-back exhaust and finally found exactly what I want, thanks to youtube. I want the Borla 125 exhaust but I cant find it. I went to their site and found the the Stainless Steel Cat-back Aggressive which I really like but I dont if that is the same setup im hearing on these 5.7L Chargers on youtube.

By looking at the cars on the video it looks like the same setup I found in the above link. Does anyone have any info on this?

Yeah I really liked SLP but I heard they were SUPER loud. I think the borla would be perfect by what I had people that have them tell me. Just need the crazy amount of cash to get them. :shakehead:

Just to let you know, I was shopping for exhaust a month or two ago and spoke to a local shop and he told me not to get a Borla that the quality has gone down considerably. He told me he actually had to scrap a brand new system. Just thought I would put in my two cents. Shop wisely and good luck.

If you like borla sound to me ,flowmaster 44's with resonator delete sound better on a 5.7 hemi .Just my thought :smileup:

^^^ Not bad right there. I'm looking at the Hooker Maxflow myself. I like the Maxflow because it was pretty quiet at idle and around 2500rpm, but then it was loud as an angry mother at WOT. Plus it made more torque and hp compared to quite a few other popular brands.

It sounds pretty good Norm. I just want something that when it is idling it has a nice deep rumble and and WOT is a BEAST FROM HELL! LOL It has always been my dream to own a muscle car and have it LOUD!!! (but still sound good) No better sound than a sweet exhaust! Cat-backs are super expensive also and I cant get my magnum hold sold so I have no money for any of this anyway. :/

Not to sound crazy, but there is a Charger here on the base i stationed at with a CherrBomb true dual exhaust, and it sounds wicked,and flows good also....just thrwing out an alternative

WOAH!!!! I just listened to that video clip and I love the sound of that. A full cat back wont do me much good I came to realize. Im not going to race my car or anything like that besides the encounters at a drag strip or autocross I may do and I do it just for fun.

I talked to flowmaster and they told me for the sound I want to get Super 40's.
Now I have heard this Cherry Bomb and super interested. Do you know what type of Cherry Bomb muffler that is?

yes, its a CherryBomb vortex, I have the pro which as the same sound just a few db louder, check the site its a pretty good setup, and when believe me when i say this the kit is RED like ur Charger! sharp!

Yeah I checked it out. Still undecided between those and flowmaster. I searched some more sound clips and some i didnt like the sound to much. Its becoming a giant cluster f**k cause now they are telling me the mufflers i original wanted (super 40's) may not fit but i can go to the 40's or super 44's and i just dont like the super 44's. SO idk what I will do Im kind of getting sick of everything.

LMAO!!! Im trying to be but things have just been so bad and it just frustrates the hell out of me that even the smallest easiest things i try to do go wrong or some confusion. If I had my own shop to hell with all these people I would do what I wanted haha

i have the factory cat back on the r/t and they need to be louder.. nice low rumble, but like i said, old style glass packs sounded better back in the day.. about the money thing, if you had the money to do it all in the 1st week, would it be as much fun? not for me anyway..i'm old and have a few more dollars, but i still want the best, for a good price and do not want to buy things twice,,

the last link does sound good, but it hard to tell on line.. mine sounds great if you pump the volume.
