Are any special tools required to take a sensor out?
I need to take sensors out of my current wheels and get them put in my new wheels so I can give the new wheel's sensors back to the person who I got them from. I was planning on mounting the new wheels on the car then breaking down my old tires and removing the sensors and taking them with me to the tire store so they can swap them out when they put new tires on. is this possible with normal guy tools or do they require something special?

Thanks Norm. I ran into problem after problem this evening that ranged from burying one of our cats to losing my floor jack. By the time I was ready to start working on it and there was about 20 minutes of sunshine left. I decided I will pay the tire guy the extra $24 dollars to break them down and take them out.
Thats roughly what I spent on my 2 tires. They seem like the same as yours but lettered a little different. They are Goodyear RSA

I thought ZR simply met "in excess of 149 mph, 240 km/h"....

225/50ZR16in excess of 149 mph, 240 km/h205/45ZR17 88W168 mph, 270 km/h285/35ZR19 99Y186 mph, 300 km/h
Mine have the 99Y designation. So that would be 186 MPH not 200.
That would be right on for a SRT8.I should never see that speed...
