I took my rims off to temporarily put these hubcaps on my car but i seem to be missing something. They will not stay. is there some type of plastic bolt that goes there???

Put the hubs on then put the lug nuts on.

I did.... But the nuts went stright through....I guess the rim shop kept my original lugnuts??

Your original lugnuts had a flange to hold the hubcap.

Wow so this means im going to have to buy new lugnuts from the dealership??? I bet thats an arm and a leg.

I would try a local rim shop, I bet they may have a set of oem laying around and would be alot cheaper than the dealer... I've heard the factory lugnuts are not cheap...

Check Advance Auto, I'm sure they have something cheaper. Worst case if they match up I'll trade you mine off my Intrepid. I don't use the hub caps.

from that pic it looks like only three of them have something a flange would hold onto. i thought those kind of wheel covers snapped on to the lip of the wheel?

No, they are held on only by the 3 lugs.

check ebay maybe get some factory acorn lugs.
