Just wondering if anyone is planning on catching the July 4th fireworks in Douglasville, GA?

Thought it be kind of cool having a nice row of MOPARS sitting side by side and enjoying the show?

Is it a PITA like the Atl fireworks or is it more chill? I despise going to Atlanta for it because it takes 3 hours to leave.

I'm down for whatever, I just wanna drive somewhere.

I've tended to avoid the ATL fireworks - however there is a lot of people that do attend the Douglasville ones, best place to see them and have a bit of elbow room is to go to the Arbor Place Mall.

They're fireworks seem to be quite good. But does take a while to leave maybe not three hours but close to a hour or so if your like me and like to chill and sit back and let people depart.

The best place to really view them is at the Arbor Place Mall in DouglasVille.

Usually near the Bed Bath and Beyond store in the malls parking lot is an excellent spot for viewing - they usually shut down the mall for the event and leave a door open for people in case they need to use the restrooms.

Saturday is good, Mon I might be able to do. Will have to check the work calendar as I'm not sure if it is a company holiday or not. Tilted Kilt is awesome, and I love Hooters.......yea.:smileup:

I just spoke to Joe. We will meet at the Tilted kilt on Barret Parkway Saturday at 1:00 then any who want to we will cruise the back way to Cartersville Dam park up through the winding road that goes through Red top park and across the big green steel bridge over the lake then up 41 to Dam road, there is a nice park at the foot of the dam it is very senic, Also for anyone interested the Woodstock fire works at dark from behind the Target and Kohls on HWY 92

Unless things change I will be there. I had my wisdom teeth removed at about 8:30 this morning and am feeling just fine right now. Got to love having a high pain threshold.

Lost track of time. Not gonna be able to make it. Just finished detailing my car and my washer just broke. So now I gotta look into fixing that.

Well we had a good time today. Tilted Kilt for lunch and a nice ride through Red Top Mountain and Allatoona Dam.

It was nice to meet John and Mike for the first time. It was a pleasure and we need to do this again.

Patrick and Kenny, as always it was nice to hang with you guys.

Yeah, Twisted Kilt is better. It was a lot of fun meeting yall. If they fix all the stuff Patrick got onto them about it may be better haha.

Anyways was great seeing ya'll and your fantastic rides, & the ride through Red Top Mountain and Allatoona Dam was sweet!

Had a blast... btw the fireworks at Woodstock were sweet too, just got home.. lol was a bit more difficult getting home in the dark. And don't know why had a police officer follow me for like a few miles before I turned off the road, to get him off my butt! <sheesh>..

All in all was a great time, many thanks for the get together and hope to be able to do it again. MMm Tilted Kilt! :Wow1:

Yea! Was a blast getting to meet Patrick, Kenny, Joe and Mike.
Tilted Kilt was a nice Irish Pub, the staff good, the food excellent, and us MOPAR heads rolled to a nice park and enjoyed the day!
