I'm n ot going to be able top go to this one... I need to stack my chips!!! yall have a great time for me, and take lots of pictures.

Okay I went to scout out the trip this morning. It was about an 1 and 15 minute drive from my house. The bad news is that to see some of the places you have to pay. Example FDR little white house $7 per person, Callaway Gardens $18/person or $14/person for a group of 15 people or more!!!:smiledown: I know things are tight and $$$$ wise I think its too much money to pay for spending an hour or so!!!:shakehead: So after talking to my second in command Joe we are going with plan B!!

which is having burgers and dogs at my house and then going on a mini cruise close by. Need to know if you guys are still interested!!! If its a go then I will provide the burgers and dogs and then have each of you bring something. Example buns,soda,etc.. I apologies for the confusion but trying to do this on short notice wasn't my most brilliant of plans!!:shakehead: So the sooner that I can get answers the better.

Y'all should come to Warm Springs! We don't live very far from there! True, stuff costs money...but there's FREE shopping! Honestly, Warm Springs is a neat little place. If you ever go....The Bulloch House is a GREAT place to eat. Good Southern cooking, buffet. Lots of bikers go there on the weekends...we ride up there occasionally. Pine Mountain has lots of little shops too....great antiques there too. I'm not sure if all the shops are open on Sundays, but I can find out.

That sounds like a good future ride Michelle. If you can put together some more info for us maybe in July or August we can set something up. I know Eddie is open to all ideas.

Hope all is going well. Sorry schedule has been crazy, at best, as of late.
Anyway will prob take a rain check for this Sunday. Have work event on Saturday and had planned to go to the Anderson car show on Sunday on way back.
Drink one for me.......

Also ... have an idea for possible ride/gathering later this year.
Watson Mill state park in comer GA .. 600' wooden covered bridge we can drive through. Many bring family to play in the river,sliding falls or cook out. Have a ride to park poss. reserve a picnic area for grilling/sandwiches. (The warmer the weather the quicker the parking lot fills up)
Or if folks just wanted to make it a stopping point. Could do a loop from Atlanta up and over to Watson Mill bridge, stop.. then over to Howards Bridge (can't drive over this one - is off a gravel road), short stop .. then south to Watkinsville to drive over Elder Mill Covered Bridge. Then either up to varsity for super or back to Atlanta via 78

Get some photos of challengers driving out of the bridges etc.

Just couldn't do it this weekend cause I have to work sat., and sunday night. Also not many people signed up for it. so we could make this a future ride.
