Hey.... CHARLOTTE FOLKS.....

The cruise in @ Pier 29 is THIS WEEKEND and every third Saturday from 2pm til 7pm. FREE and usually door prizes as given.

This is located off LANE STREET EXIT... follow lane street to hwy 29, turn left at the light, under underpass and on the left..(right across the street from McDonalds; approximately two blocks from Lane Street).

Tee and I hope to be there again this week, however, we may be somewhat late!

thats sucks i am in new york this weekend and i wont be able to make it. one of these days i might be able to meet someone from this chapter that i am associated with.

Tee and I got there at 3:20 and there were only THREE cars there... guess everyone was waiting until it cools down a little bit. However we just came home as we were at a Mod get together today and in the heat.

Yup.... we were out earlier for a mod day and in the heat.... went there on the way home and then left and decided since we were in the heat.... we'd call it a day!

Yes, it's a shame the Charlotte Chapter can't get something going, like the UPSTATE CHAPTER does! Don (MySRT) just posted a thread about possible get togethers. We all need to be on the look out for something going on around here. I know on EVERY Sunday afternoon at Punchy Whitterkers Wheel shop in Concord, they have a cruise in, however I have NOT tried that one yet. I also heard the Kannapolis cruise in has NOW been cancelled for the rest of the year!

There was a Car Show at Ben Mynatt Chev in Concord today and I called but it was for Chevys ONLY!!!

I'm hoping IF any Charlotte Chapter members hear of things they will post a Thread for all of us to see. I try too!

Well thanks Jim for the shout out.I talked to Scott at Gatlinburg about getting things going in the Charlotte chapter and he is working on a few things and I am sure will post them soon.
