Just wanted to start a new thread so those who have not seen the other one.
Instead of meeting at a restaurant, this M&G will be at my house. Exit 22 on I-10, just East of Pensacola. Head South on Avalon Blvd about 6 miles, last road on Right before Toll Bridge is South Garcon Point Road, take it, then take Left at stop sign (still South Garcon Point Road) to last house on Left. A lot of stuff to do out here, Kayak, Windsurf, Fish, or just hang out on the porch.
Very relaxed atmosphere with this M&G. PM if you need specific directions or call . Looking forward to it. Stacy

I agree, that's bold and very much appreciated to open your home to your "extended" family. I for one will try to be there. Event permitting. It's only 3.5 hours for me, so not that bad.

I have met some of you already and have no problem having people over, you guys can't be any worse than having relatives over, and the house is kid-proof. A friend from LXF is coming in earlier that weekend.
Redinfierno, It is a long drive from Ft. Lauderdale, I have driven to The Keys a few times and that's when I appreciate how big Florida is.
If anyone needs a place to stay, Red Roof Inn on Avalon Blvd in Milton is close. The Blue Angels air show is Saturday at the Beach if you are making a weekend trip out of it.

Well that would be a good weekend to get away from things. Sounds like i might have to talk the Gf into going for the weekend.

Stacy, put me down for this, should we bring anything? It's a 2.5 hour drive for me, so i'll be coming back that night (have to work in the morning)!

No need to bring anything. I'll fire up the grill and have drinks already. Robert said he and Tessa may be coming in Friday or Saturday, so if you want to come in the day before and go to the Air Show with us, bring your swim trunks. No bananas hammock, I have to draw the line somewhere.

I would go but I'll be back in Monroe by the time this meet is. It's about a 7 1/2 hr drive for me so I'll miss it. I'll try to make it to the next one.

Thanks to everyone who made it out. Thanks to Patrick for forgetting his thong at home and for Andrew's girl wearing hers, sweet. Thanks to Justin for bringing me a sticker out this way, now I'm part of the group. My neighbors said thanks for adding the black marks on the road in front of the house, it gives it some contrast to the asphalt gray. Robert left his 300 at home on purpose, I think he is doing something to it.

So Patrick and I did a couple of runs on the highway, we can call it even for now or I can give Patrick the win for now, but we all know what is going to happen at the Shindig.
