From what I've heard, the hardest part is swapping the springs over from he old shocks. If you don't have air tools, compressing the springs can be a real bear. That's one of the reasons I went with coilovers instead of a lowering kit. The other was that with coilovers I can adjust the ride height, with a lowering kit you're stuck at what the vendor thinks it should be. There's a couple of good video walk-troughs out there on various forums that can give you an idea on what the job takes. Jettech104 09-10-2009, 08:16 PM I did my son's rice rocket at home without a lift and it took us 2.5 hrs!!! We borrowed the spring compressor from autozone!! lil ashley 09-10-2009, 11:49 PM i am gettn struts and srt-8 springs already mounted you get the ride heighth you want and get a better ride. vBulletin® v3.8.4, Copyright ©2000-2012, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
