View Full Version : 1961 Plymouth with a 6.1 hemi

Bought a 61 plymouth a few months ago . Great body and interior on it. So we decided to rip the driveline out. 904 lock up, 8 3/4 and 6.1 hemi sounded good :D. You can see in the pictures we have a 5.7 in to do the mock up. Indy Cylinder Head is providing the 6.1. I actually had 5.7 heads put on it, made 420hp on the dyno. I'm not interested in going fast in an old car, have my other cars for that. Everything we could rip off has been sent out for powder coating. As it starts to go back together, I'll take more pictures. Got some cleaning to do while the front end is off. Going to be a very cool car, very ugly.
