I have an '08 Charger with the stock 18" Crome Clads. I was wondering if you guys think that 255/55/18 tires will fit on them. I am trying to fit the widest tire possible without being unsafe. If someone already has this set up feel free to post up a pic. Let me know your thoughts.

Here are some comparison pics of my new 255/55/18 tires. The before pics are the stock size 225/60/18 Yokohama YK520's. The after pics are my new Nitto 420s 255/55/18's. I was originally going to go with the new Yokohama Avid Envigors in the same size, but they're on a national backorder... oh well, maybe next time. I just got these Nittos today, so I don't really have an opinion on how they drive yet, but I like the way they look and they fit fine. I included a pic of the "knuckle bolt" that everybody's so worried about. It seems to me there's plenty of clearance. Anyway, hope these photos help. If anyone would like a different angle I'd be happy take more pics and post them.

WOW, those look a LOT better! If I ever use any of my 18's again, I'll go with that size as well. We have three sets of 18's... two from our 05 R/T's and one set from our 06 SXT!
