Soo0o0o when i hit any kind of bump r hump. My car feels like it's about to fall apart. Sometimes i think my tires went flat how bad the ride is. I just bought the car(used) and i went from 20-22-24in rims. Could switching out rims be my main problem. Basically it feels like im on a 26in rim with 20 series tire going over a gravel road real fast.

The bigger the rim, the worst the ride will be. You could invest in some airbag shocks. I have 20" rims and the ride is a little worst then stock.

Yea, I have to agree. I have recently went to 20's from 18's and there is a difference, but nothing to make me switch back though!

I have been riding on 24s for about 4 years now so that isnt a problem. I know how riding on 4s feel but this is another ball game. I'm back on the stockers for about 2 weeks now and MAN its HORRIBLE.

When i hit a bump it feels like someone is hitting my suspension with a 12lb sledge hammer.

Sounds like front end issues or bearing issues, larger wheels are known to cause some problems, especially when the offset is changed.

Not talking about plus sizing, but when going with much larger than the stock design parts do wear much faster.

Good luck, theres nothing worse than riding in a car with the issues you are describing.

Have it looked at hopefully it's not a bad thing.

Definitly sounds like front end issues. Possibly shocks gone bad? I know my shocks aren't up to factory par anymore. Of course, I have 90,000 miles on my R/T, whats your excuse? LOL

I used to have 22's on my 300srt that I used to have and the ride was pretty harsh at times.

I couldn't imagine trying to roll on 24's and a smaller tire, especially if you are going at a fast pace.

My guess is the shocks are shot.I don't know if your car is lowered. If the car is lowered on springs,as opposed to coilovers, the shocks will wear out prematurely.

Is it coming from the front?? I would check and see if something is loose down there, take the wheel off and check if bushings are shot or worn. It should be covered under warranty. I went to the dealer today to check something and the guy said he I had to take off the aftermarket wheels and put stocks back on to check.
