Teaser on the Intune.
For those enthusiasts who enjoy tweaking and tuning their vehicle for the utmost performance, DiabloSport (http://www.diablosport.com/) is a well-known name. They design and build a variety of tuning options for Ford, GM (http://www.gm.com/) and Dodge (http://www.dodge.com/) vehicles. Their product line spans the gambit from performance chips, to hand-held flash tuners to proprietary tuning software.
So one of the biggest drawbacks to DiabloSports hand-held tuners has been the 1:1 ratio between device and vehicle. For example, lets say you own a Jeep (http://www.jeep.com/) Grand Cherokee 5.7L HEMI and a Dodge Challenger SRT8. Both vehicles can be tuned with a similar device known as a DiabloSport Predator. Yet in practice, you would need to purchase two devices, one for each vehicle. And while the device is a wonderful gadget to handle your tuning and datalogging needs, it has shortcomings.
Well, thats about to change for the better. In the past day or so, pictures and details have leaked about DiabloSports' upcoming replacement for the Predator tuner. Its called Intune and from all indications, it will be a very nice upgrade for current Predator owners.A DiabloSport representative has this to say about the new Intune:

"The Intune is our next generation handheld device.
*it does everything the current tools do, but doesn't require extra cables or software to send/get files from it.
*dealership scantool functions are pretty much any commands they do.. DPF regen, crank relearn, PATS/VATS re-keying.
*has a gigabyte of flash memory, USB, works with every known vehicle protocol.
*very icon oriented.
*to get a log file off it.. plug it into your PC.. it pops up as a drive.. go into LOGS folder.. there they are.. drag/drop to your PC.
*to put a custom tune on it.. plug it into PC.. drive pops up.. drag your tune to TUNES folder.
*has SAE and enhanced PIDs for Ford, GM, DCX, Subaru, Toyota, Honda, Mercedes, BMW to name a few.
*it can tune multiple vehicles by purchasing extra licenses." http://www.streetlegaltv.com/photos/data/690/IMG_6551.JPGSome additional research on the web produced this information:
Here is what I could find out- Diablo "Intune"
We've seen some of the prototypes of the new DiabloSport inTune before. This product was designed as the replacement to the Predator tuner and is now ready to be released. This next generation tuner features a full touch screen and easy to use menus to make tuning your vehicle easy. Best of all this tuner will work with any DiabloSport supported vehicle, so no more throwing away your old tuner when you change cars. You also get data logging and the ability for custom tuning if you out-grow the supplied tunes.
