Yesterday, for Mother's Day, I called my sister, my Aunt and my cousins and ALL of them said it was snowing then in Upstate New York! WOW, so glad I moved SOUTH! I surely DO NOT miss that!!!

We traveled back once for THANKSGIVING ~ but NEVER again ~ Forgot they get snow up there by then..... LOL

I know how they are feeling. I am in VA for work and it was 33 degrees this morning.

I used to live in Lake George NY ~ BOY was it cold and snowy up there!

My Grandparents had 49 acres in Franklinville, NY. Went there every Thanksgiving. Great times there!

Also lived in Hamburg, NY during the storm of 78.

i'm Southern by heritage but my parents had moved to Chicago for work where i was born, moved to Charlotte when i was 7, so when people ask me if i was born in the South i say "no, but i got back as fast as i could!!" LOL

also spent 5 years stationed in Maine, love the snow and miss it sometimes myself.
