They know that the Bull is coming to town in 2 weeks.
for some big Mopar drive in the mountains..

Now thatthe weather is getting warmer..
They are going to enforce that 15 over the limit your f**Ked law.. :doh:

they have a rolling thunder program. The state patrol along with community police depts are really knocking down offenders and DUI guys. If its a rolling thiunder weekend (starts on thursday) then be wary. They will be pulling over speeders as a primary offensce ot check for sobriety. They are hitting pretty hard.. here they got a friend of mine 2x in one night. he was sober and released with no tickets. but just to give you an idea

True.. I gotten pulled over for doing 5 above in South GA as well.
But doing 5 over they can not hit you with the BIG DOUBLE fine law..

I have friends in Henry County and in Dawson County where my house is..

I have alittle fun in Henry.. But My house in Dawsonville is in No mans land..

In Jan I got nailed in East Point on 285 at camp creek they are all over 285 I was in my pickup. Watch out for the East Point speed trap

My wife and I were driving home from Red Top Mountain yesterday afternoon with our little 3 yo in the back seat. We entered Cobb County where we live, and decided to take the scenic route home (County Line Rd--fun, but highly patrolled). Deputy in brown Crown Vic pulled up behind us and followed us for about 7 miles at 35 mph. He wouldn't get off our ass, but we even went 5 mph Under the speed limit. I was high-fiving my daughter in the back seat (wife was driving this time) telling her about the Po-po behind us. My wife decides to pull off in the neighborhood before ours to just let him go around us, which he did. We pull back out to enter our neighborhood, and he is sitting there camped out to catch speeders near Vaugn Elementary School. We pull in, and not 1 minute later, he is behind us with lights on and yelling on his damn loudspeaker to pull over. He comes up and saw my daughter, and realized we were not DUI, and told us he pulled us over because she was driving 5 miles UNDER the speed limit! He asked why, and I said, "I wonder? You were on our ass for 7 miles...we were about to call a local cop to see if you could stop." He laughed and said he thought I was making gestures towards him...I was playing with my daughter in her car seat.
Anyway, pretty sure they are looking for Anything to pull people over this weekend-- funny thing is that half the neighborhood saw it and probably figures we are fugitives or something lol... He was nice when he realized how much time he had wasted on us. My wife then gets into a conversation on what piece he carries (.40 cal). If I drive this weekend I'm using cruise control for the first time!

funny thing is i drive faster in my commute car (99buick park ave) no one sees me in that thing......... im like invisible.... when i get in the charger EVERYONE sees me popo everywhere.....ive had the popo turn around and follow me for miles..... i drive slow in the charger:4-dontknow:

i have had cops follow me for miles i think on my truck its the tinted windows and the hood scoop, i think they think i am gonna street race, which i would never do

Yeah, even during rush hour they have been cracking down. It used to be a free pass during that time, now they are quite busy during it. It seems they are actually catching all the people that ride the HOV lane solo. Most of the time I just do my normal 10 over and they ignore me. Got to love the Intrepid.

the other day I had a cop fly up behind me on 75.I was getting off,and going to get some gas.well the cop follows me to the gas station.I was starting to sweat alittle.I pull up next to a gas pump and the cop pulls beside me,and gets out of his car.He just wanted to check out my car,because he has an SRT-4>I told him he scared the crap out of me,and that he should check out DSM.
